
Konstanze Wimmer was born in Salzburg and currently lives and works in the Upper Austrian countryside and in Berlin. She graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar and began her career in Berlin as a graphic designer and illustrator. Then she completed a Master’s degree at the University of Art and Design Linz. In 2017/18, she held a teaching position at the University of Art and Design Linz. During 2020/21, she participated in the research program MAKE/SENSE at FHNW Basel, where she explored posthumanist discourses and deepened her research-based engagement with perception, materiality, and meaning. Her work has been shown at various venues including the Van de Velde Bau, Gaswerk Weimar, Projektraum 205, DesignMai, galerie able, Atelier K&K, the Academy for Illustration and Design (AID), projektraum sonne 55 in Berlin.
